The Church

The Church of Christ New Cross is serving the community of New Cross in the heart of London, Great Britain. The congregation is made up of Christians from Britain, the British Commonwealth, Europe, and Nations all over the world. With one accord, we fellowship, worship, study and pray together.

We are seeking to work out in practice what it means to be a Christian church in a local community. We are a growing church of some 80 adults and 25 children, worshipping, learning from God’s Word, and praying together.

Worshipping

Our worship service is characterized by biblical teaching, preaching, singing and prayer. There is also opportunity within our services for quieter, more reflective worship and we share together in the Lord’s Supper on the first day of the week. In addition to the normal prayers during our worship and bible studies, a prayer meeting is held on the last Friday of every month. The church also has evangelical, edification and benevolent ministries.
